 Fly Fishing and Trout in western North Carolina

 Endless River Adventures offers a wide variety of guided fishing adventures.  We offer fly fishing and spin fishing options for trout and small mouth bass in North Carolina and North Georgia.  We also offer international fishing adventure trips in Ecuador for trout, peacock bass and Piranha. 

 

Following are some of the more popular streams in the area that we offer guided trips on. Use the following keys to know what each river has to offer: W=Wade   F=Float (Raft or Drift Boat)   FF=Fly Fishing  SF =Spin Fishing

 

Main Stem Nantahala River:
Trout
- April through October  (F) During water releases - (W) Early morning and or early evening when there is no water release)

Fish the tail waters of the Nantahala River.  We offer both wade and float trips on the Nantahala River.  All three species of trout are available, Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout.  It has both stocked and native trout.  Two NC State record brown trout have come out of the Nantahala River fishery.  No Experience needed!  (FF or SF)

Endless River Adventures is one of the only licensed companies that offer float-fishing trips via Raft or Dory on the tail waters of the Nantahala River.

Upper Nantahala River: 
Trout
- October through May – Delayed Harvest – Catch and Release.  June though September – Stocked and Native Fish    (W)

 Fish the Upper Nantahala River.  We offer wade trips on the Upper Nantahala River.  All three species of trout, Rainbow, Brown and Brook, are available on the Nantahala.  No experience needed!   (FF)

Tuckasegee: 
Trout
- October through May - Delayed Harvest - Catch and Release

 (F)  (W)

 Fish the tail waters of the Tuckaseegee River.  We offer both wade and float trips on the Tuckaseegee River.  All three species of trout are available, Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout.  It has both stocked and native trout.  No Experience needed!  (FF)

Ravens Fork: 

Trophy Trout - Year Round - Catch and Release  (W)
Fish the Trophy waters of the Ravens Fork River.  We offer wade-fishing trips on the Ravens Fork River in Cherokee NC.  The Ravens Fork has Rainbow, Brown and Golden trout species.  These are stocked trout.   Some Experience needed!  (FF)

Note: NC fishing license & Trout Stamp not needed.  Enterprise Tribal Waters daily license and Trophy waters season license required.  Daily Permit $7.00 - Trophy Water Permit $20.00

Snowbird Creek:
Trout – April through October  (W)
Upper Snowbird Creek is a beautiful native trout fishery.  Snowbird Creek has native Rainbow and Brown trout below the falls and Brook Trout above the falls.  This is a demanding trip physically, with rugged terrain and difficult wading conditions.  Experience needed!    (FF or SF)

Toccoa River:
Trout - Year Round   (F)
Fish the tail waters of the Toccoa River.  We offer float-fishing trips on the Toccoa River in N. GA.  The Toccoa River has Rainbow and Brown trout species. There are many large trout in this fishery.  Some Experience needed!  (FF or SF)

French Broad:
Small Mouth Bass - April through October  (F)
Float the French Broad River outside of Asheville NC for great Small Mouth Bass fishing.  You also have the possibility of catching the occasional Musky and lots of large Brim.  This is a long day of fishing.  Start time is early.  No experience needed!  (FF or SP)

Cheoah River:
Small Mouth Bass - April through October  (W)
Wade fish for Small Mouth Bass on the Cheoah River.  This is a clear water beautiful stream with BIG large mouth bass.  It is important to be in good physical condition as this stream can be difficult wading.  Experience needed!  (FF or SF)

Little Tennessee:
Small Mouth Bass - April through October   (F) (W)
Wade or float the Little Tennessee with one of our guides.  The Little Tennessee has lots of Small Mouth Bass, Brim and the occasional Musky.  This is one of NC best small mouth fishery.  No experience needed!  (FF or SF)
