Ocoee/Cheoah Double Header - two days of action-packed whitewater that is perfect for those who cannot get enough!

Your $200 package includes 3 seperate river trips (a full day on the Ocoee and a single trip down the Cheoah), deli-style lunch on the Ocoee and on the Cheoah and transportation to/from Nantahala Outpost to the Ocoee.

Not time in one weekend for both? You can schedule your Ocoee/Cheoah Double Header dates for non-consecutive weekends (based on availablity and release schedule).

ABOUT THE CHEOAH RIVER

The Class IV-IV+ rapids are made up of steep, vertical ledges and technical boulder fields, and a gradient that drops steadily through an ever-deepening canyon. The rapids continue to climb the whitewater scale until arriving at the Big Fat Gap Bridge. Here begins two of the steepest commercially rafted miles of whitewater in the U.S. With non-stop rapids made up of rocks, holes, and waves, the river chases a constantly disappearing horizon. The action does not let up until the final plunge into Lake Calderwood and the Little Tennessee River.

Extremely continuous and physically demanding, the Cheoah is the perfect choice for those looking to take the whitewater experience to that next level. A dam-controlled river, releases are limited to a select few dates a year.

Looking for the ultimate white water river experience in the southeast? For each release date, we offer two different options: a full-day trip or a single trip.

The Double Diamond Full Day Cheoah Trip: A full day, double run day that will leave you exhausted but satiated. After a morning run, we take time to enjoy a riverside lunch and some down time for relaxing and catching your breath. After refueling, an afternoon run provides opportunity to tackle the rapids again. The Price of the trip includes transportation to/from our Nantahala Outpost, two action-packed trips down the river, a deli-style lunch and beverages.

Single Gem-of-a-River Trip: An exhilarating action-packed trip down this world-class river. The Price of the trip includes an action-packed trip down the river, a riverside lunch and beverages.

Cheoah Requirements: Previous rafting experience on minimum Class III-IV whitewater is necessary. Participants must be in good physical condition. Minimum age requirement on the Cheoah is sixteen.
